FAQ

Welcome to Bademaloe Electric Bicycles! We understand that choosing an electric bike can raise some questions. Below are some of the most common inquiries and their answers. We hope this will help you make the best choice. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us!

1. What is an electric bicycle?

An electric bicycle (E-bike) is a bicycle equipped with an electric drive system, typically including a battery, motor, and control system. Riders can rely on the electric motor to assist with pedaling, reducing physical effort and improving comfort and efficiency while riding.

2. How long does it take to charge an electric bicycle?

Charging time for an electric bicycle typically takes 4 to 6 hours, depending on the battery capacity and the power of the charger. We recommend using the supplied charger to ensure battery longevity and charging efficiency.

3. What is the range of an electric bicycle?

Bademaloe electric bicycles come with a high-efficiency 36V 17.5Ah battery, offering a range of approximately 50-70 miles (80-113 km). The actual range may vary depending on factors such as terrain, wind conditions, rider weight, and riding style.

4. Do I need any special riding experience to ride an electric bicycle?

Electric bicycles are designed to be user-friendly, and anyone with basic cycling experience can easily get started. The electric assist makes riding easier, especially when climbing hills or riding for extended periods, providing a comfortable experience.

5. How fast can an electric bicycle go?

Our electric bicycles typically reach speeds of 20-28 mph (32-45 km/h) on electric assist mode, which complies with the maximum speed limits set by U.S. laws. You can choose different riding modes based on your preference to enjoy the best riding experience.

6. How long will the battery of an electric bicycle last?

Our batteries generally last for about 500 charge cycles, which translates to 3-5 years of normal use. To maintain optimal battery performance, we recommend charging regularly and avoiding full discharges.

7. Can I ride an electric bicycle in the rain?

We recommend avoiding riding in heavy rain, but electric bicycles are designed to be water-resistant and can be ridden in light rain. However, prolonged exposure to water may damage the battery and electric system, so it’s best to avoid riding in such conditions.

8. How do I maintain my electric bicycle?

It’s important to regularly check the battery, tires, brakes, and drive system. We recommend a comprehensive check-up every 6 months to ensure that the electric system, brakes, and battery are in good condition. Additionally, keeping your electric bicycle clean and free of dirt and moisture will help maintain its performance.

9. Who are electric bicycles suitable for?

Electric bicycles are suitable for a wide range of riders, regardless of age or fitness level. Whether you are a daily commuter, a weekend leisure rider, or someone looking for an eco-friendly transportation option, an electric bicycle offers comfort and convenience.

10. Do I need to purchase additional accessories?

While our electric bicycles come with essential accessories like baskets, lights, and mirrors, you can purchase additional accessories according to your needs, such as anti-theft locks, extra chargers, phone mounts, and more.

11. How do I choose the right electric bicycle for me?

When choosing an electric bicycle, consider your riding needs (such as urban commuting, leisure rides, or long-distance trips), budget, riding environment, and personal preferences. Our customer service team is always available to provide professional advice and help you select the perfect electric bicycle.

12. What should I do if my electric bicycle has issues?
